A Woman's Magazine That Tried to be Otherwise
After 10 years, Jane Magazine will close after its August issue.
This was my all time favorite magazine, a kind of Bitch-Cosmopolitan hybrid that I bought every month and read cover-to-cover. I had always thought I might apply for an internship there, since they took on a couple NYU journalism students a year. I am sincerely disappointed.
