College orientation reminded me a little bit of summer camp, which I guess makes sense seeing as both took place in the summer, and in college dorms, and involved shitty food and uncomfortably stiff sheets. And that particular smell that manifests itself in dormitory bathrooms. I hope you know the smell I'm talking about, because it's really distinctive but difficult to describe.
Well, orientation is vastly superior to summer camp, because when summer camp ends and it's time to go home, everyone gets teary and facebooks each other and never speak again*. But orientation, really, is just a preview of the greatness of the next four years to come! I am so excited!
*Unless you are like me and end up rooming in college with your old summer camp roommate. CTY is just...my life.
